Clinique St Pierre, Ottignies – Cliniques Universitaires St Luc, Brussels/Belgium

UCL_Cliniques_UnviversitairesNuclear Medecine. Patients from Cliniques St-Pierre Ottignies are sent to Cliniques Universitaire St-Luc for PET-CT exams. Once performed, these exams are sent to Cliniques St-Pierre Ottignies by KISANO from working station to working station, performing in real time patient ID reconciliation between the two RIS. KISANO is also used for HL7 message exchange between St-Pierre and St-Luc.


Jules Bordet Institute, Brussels - Brumammo, Brussels/Belgium

Jules Bordet Institute participates as first reading center in the Breast Cancer Screening Program managed by Brumammo in Brussels which acts as a second reading center. The Kisano Box at Jules Bordet Institut is connected to the local PACS, whereas the KISANO Box at Brumammo is connected to the local Working Station. A transparent mammography workflow is performed between the two institutions.

 

 

Jules Bordet Institute, Brussels/Belgium - National Institut of Oncology, Rabat/Marocco

KISANO was used to implement the first international breast cancer screening program between Europe and Africa. The first mammography reading was performed in Rabat, whereas the second readning in Brussels. More than 1600 mammography exams where shared in a few months by using regular Internet connections. The next phase of the project concerns a tele-pathology service to provide assistance and training to Morocco Centers from different locations in Europe. Kisano platform allows a specialist to
perform consultations from abroad based on all the clinical data provided by different health centers.

A Dicom Pass-Through is performed by means of the Kisano platform from working station to working station for research studies and second advice in senology between the to Institutions.
